Welcome to Global DJ Battle (“we”, “our”, “the Organizers”).
By submitting your application or participating in any stage of the Global DJ Battle competition (“the Competition”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Eligibility
1.1 Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
1.2 By entering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.
1.3 The Organizers reserve the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any applicant who provides false or misleading information.
2. Entry and Submission
2.1 Each applicant must complete the online form and provide a valid link to their DJ mix or performance video (e.g., YouTube, SoundCloud).
2.2 Submissions must be original and must not infringe on any third-party rights (including copyright, trademarks, or performance rights).
2.3 Entries containing explicit, offensive, or inappropriate content may be disqualified without notice.
2.4 All entries become part of the Competition process and may be used for screening, selection, and promotion by the Organizers.
3. Selection Process
3.1 The selection of participants will be made solely by the Organizers or their appointed judges.
3.2 Decisions by the judging panel are final and not subject to appeal.
3.3 The Organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel any part of the Competition process at any time without prior notice.
4. Prizes
4.1 The Competition winner(s) will receive the prize(s) as publicly announced (e.g., USD $10,000 cash prize).
4.2 Prizes are non-transferable and may be subject to taxes or deductions as required by law.
4.3 The Organizers reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
5. Use of Content
5.1 By submitting an application, you grant the Organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your name, image, performance links, and related materials for promotion, publicity, and media coverage connected to the Competition.
5.2 You confirm that you have full rights and permissions to any content you share.
5.3 The Organizers are not responsible for any claims arising from unauthorized or copyrighted material submitted by participants.
6. Conduct
6.1 Participants must behave professionally and respectfully throughout the Competition.
6.2 Any act of misconduct, cheating, or misrepresentation may result in disqualification.
6.3 The Organizers have the sole right to determine appropriate disciplinary action.
7. Event Context and Liability Disclaimer
7.1 The Battle of DJs competition (“the Competition”) is part of the official closing concert of the Global Entrepreneurship Festival (GEF).
7.2 The Competition is managed and administered independently by the Global DJ Battle organizing team (“the Organizers”).
7.3 While the Competition takes place during the GEF, GEF and its partners are not responsible for the administration, judging, or outcome of the Competition, nor for any disputes, losses, injuries, or damages arising from participation.
7.4 Global DJ Battle and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

Technical issues, internet failures, or platform errors.

Loss, theft, or damage to participant materials or data.

Injuries, damages, or losses of any kind arising from participation or acceptance of prizes.
7.5 The Competition is provided “as is”, without any warranty of success, exposure, or reward beyond what is officially communicated.
8. Indemnification
By participating, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Global DJ Battle, GEF, and all partners, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Any violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.
9. Privacy
9.1 Personal data collected through the application form will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Competition.
9.2 By submitting your application, you consent to receive official communications about the Competition via email, SMS, or phone.
9.3 Your data will not be shared with unaffiliated third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
10. Modifications and Termination
10.1 The Organizers may modify, postpone, or terminate the Competition at any time without liability.
10.2 Updated Terms will be posted on the official website, and continued participation implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
